Our Staff

“The Staff at A Better Solution were warm, caring and compassionate. They always treated mom with love and respect. I would recommend them over any other in-home agency.”

Our Staff

Every employee of A Better Solution Home Care is fully licensed, insured and bonded, as well as professionally trained to provide quality care to all of our clients. After providing several positive references and a stable work history, all staff are screened through the Washington State Patrol, ensuring that only the best become a part of our team. Additionally, all personal care assistants are required to become Nurse Delegated Registered/Certified Nursing Assistants within 90 days of hire.

Morgen Springer is Co-Owner & Administrator of A Better Solution. With several years of experience working with seniors and special needs, she uses her knowledge to implement a higher standard in the industry. Morgen is also certified to train her staff in the Fundamentals of Caregiving as well as other continuing education classes, allowing nursing assistants to maintain their certification. It is her most sincere hope that the community can come to realize that they have many options for their long-term care, and leaving home doesn’t have to be the answer.

Carol Thayer is Co-Owner of A Better Solution and has been involved in the home care field for many years. As an overseer for the healthcare of elderly family members, she’s experienced the need first-hand for dependable home care agencies. For many years she was the sole caregiver for her mother Pauline, who was stricken with Alzheimer’s and has since passed.

As a local to Camano Island since 1963, she has extensive knowledge of the need for quality care in the area and knows that by being a part of the solution, she is able to provide a needed service to those that have found it difficult to receive care from other agencies.
